With some experts now predicting gains in the property market of around 5% over 2021, Louis Christopher of SQM Research has forecast a jump of 9% in house prices on a national level. While Louis assumes a vaccine is rolled out and further fiscal and monetary support, he also factors in a third wave of the COVID-19 virus, requiring additional lockdowns. If we thought 2020 was bumpy, 2021 looks set to be another crazy ride!
